Dear Barden Family, Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss. Your baby boy is so precious. I pray that you will have the full support of your family and friends to get through this. Brighter days are ahead. A day when all of our loved ones will be resurrected; the Bible refers to this awesome hope as the Resurrection Hope [Act 24:15] says “I have hope toward God which hope these [men] themselves also entertain that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” The Bible tells us that “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves. Many are the calamities of the righteous one, but out of them all Jehovah delivers him.” [Psalms 34: 18, 19} God’s word the Bible promises that by means of his kingdom, “death will be no more.” Imagine that! It goes on to say, “Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away.” [Revelation 21: 3-5] I pray you will find some comfort in these scriptures. The Bible tells us “For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.” [Ecclesiastes 9:5] So he is not suffering nor is he in any pain. He is at peace. Please review these scriptures in your personal copy of the Bible. May the “peace of God that excels all thought…. by means of Christ Jesus”, help ease your pain.
